History

Bank was established on June 24, 1908, in the Holy City-Amritsar by three visionaries Bhai Vir Singh Ji, Sir Sunder Singh Majithia Ji, and Sardar Tarlochan Singh Ji with a strong commitment to uplifting the underprivileged.  The bank aimed to support economically weaker sections of society in uplifting of their standard of living.
